Radiation Safety for Ancillary Personnel - Online
This course is designed for personnel who do not work directly with radiation-producing equipment or radioactive materials, but work near or around radiation-producing equipment or radioactive materials . The information is recommended for ancillary personnel such as custodians, nursing staff, medical specialties, facilities staff, physical plant staff, and any non-radiation workers who may have occasional or infrequent duties around radiation sources.
It is the responsibility of the shop foreman, division or department manager, or supervisor to ensure personnel are provided this information prior to entering spaces where radioactive materials are used or stored.
