Fire Extinguisher Training Online
Intended audience
This course is required for University personnel whose job duties include the use of fire extinguishers to extinguish fires. Retraining for these personnel is required annually.
This course is recommended for University personnel who work with flammable, pyrophoric, reactive materials, as well as those in laboratory settings, kitchens, hot work environments, and shops.
Description
This course teaches hazards involved with incipient (early) stage firefighting and the general principles of fire extinguisher use. This is the prerequisite for the Fire Extinguisher Training Hands-On course.
