Intended audience
This course is required for University personnel who prepare or ship hazardous materials. Retraining is required every two (2) years.
Description
This course teaches the different classes of hazardous materials, container and outer packaging requirements, proper documentation, and labeling requirements for shipment. It focuses on Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Air Transportation Association (IATA) regulations.
