Scientific Diver Training

Intended audience

This course is required for University personnel who use a Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) for research diving activities.

Description

This course teaches researchers with recreational diver certification for scientific diving, following the standards of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS). This training includes modules in diving first aid, CPR, oxygen administration, diver rescue, Blue Water diving and NITROX training.
