Scaffold Safety Online

Intended audience

This course is required initially for University personnel who work on scaffolds. Personnel are required to retake this course as needed due to changes in the worksite, type of scaffold, fall protection, falling object protection, or other equipment. 

Description

This course teaches scaffold safety essentials, including types, design requirements, and load capacities. It covers major hazards like falls and electrocution, fall protection systems, and proper safety practices. Participants learn about inspection requirements, prohibited conditions, and critical procedures to prevent accidents when working on elevated platforms.
