This classroom training course addresses common laboratory hazards, provides guidance on risk assessment, and reviews best practices in the laboratory for routine practices. The course provides access to tools and documents to support the laboratory in maintaining a safe workplace. Following the 90 minute training is an optional 30 minutes for conversation around specific safety issues or other related topics.
"Classroom training like this should be 'required' for every person working in the lab… not just the PI or CHO. Most people almost never take the time to think about safety in their busy schedules. It is grueling, but important." Testimonial, April 2018.
"In a shared space, even if something is not yours, you should still be concerned and take action because the risk is yours." Testimonial, April 2018.
"Great photos, great explanations, non-blame oriented, super-helpful suggestions, and an immediate layering in in the Chat with detail and resources. Just do it!” Testimonial, July 2020
