Formaldehyde Safety Online
Intended audience
This course is required for University personnel who work with or may be exposed to formaldehyde or formaldehyde-containing products in the workplace. Retraining is required annually and whenever work practices change such that there may be a new exposure to formaldehyde in the work area.
Description
This course teaches about formaldehyde health hazards, regulated exposure limits, monitoring requirements, engineering controls to prevent exposures, safe use practices, personal protective equipment, waste disposal, formaldehyde spill and emergency response.
