Crystalline Silica Safety Training Online
Intended audience
This course is required initially for University personnel who may work with or disturb materials containing crystalline silica.
Description
This course teaches general crystalline silica health hazards, specific tasks in the workplace that could result in exposure to respirable crystalline silica and measures to protect yourself from exposures, including engineering controls, work practices, and the use of respirators. It also covers medical surveillance and the competent person designation.
