Shipping Regulated Medical Waste - Online
This online course teaches you how to prepare regulated medical waste for collection by the UW waste contractor, in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. The course includes hazard awareness, safety procedures, function-specific shipping preparation and security awareness. This course does not fulfill the required training for shipping biohazardous materials by land or air.
