Employee Health: Services

The University of Washington Employee Health Center located at Hall Health Primary Care Center is a branch of Campus Preventive Health. We provide work-related health screenings, conduct ongoing medical surveillance, injury/exposure evaluations and promote wellness programs such as blood pressure screening and smoking cessation referrals.

We serve a broad client population which includes (3) different branches of UW employees. Examples of the various work groups we serve include all Health Sciences research staff/faculty, all upper campus staff/faculty, other off-site UW campus locations (including UW -Tacoma, UW Bothell), remote site research facilities, Animal husbandry staff and scientific research divers.

Specific services include:

  • Hepatitis B vaccinations
  • General immunizations to comply with work related recommendations
  • Tuberculosis screening and surveillance
  • Health screenings for animal husbandry and research staff
  • Minor injury and first aid treatment
  • Special Project specific surveillance
  • Scientific Dive Medical Clearances
  • Respiratory Medical Clearances
  • Flu Shots
  • Blood Pressure Screening
  • Smoking Cessation referrals
  • Post Exposure evaluations
