Worker Memorial Day Is April 25

Each year thousands of workers are killed and millions more injured or diseased because of job-related hazards.

Please join the Northwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety on Worker Memorial Day (April 25) to honor those who have died in 2017 from a work-related injury or illness in King County. This special ceremony will raise awareness about how we can strengthen our commitment to make jobs safer and save lives in Washington state.

This event takes place on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the HUB Lyceum. The theme is "Raising the bar: Worker Rights, Safety and #MeToo Awareness."

All are welcome. No registration is required. For more information, please contact Nancy Simcox, 206.221.7107, UW DEOHS Continuing Education Programs.
